Six Flags America has announced the schedule of special events for the 2022 and 2023 seasons, as well as the return of popular dining and membership programs.
In the Washington D.C. area, Six Flags America has exciting rides, shows, and attractions, like nine roller coasters and a special area just for kids. Hurricane Harbor has water slides, a lazy river, three kid’s areas, and an 800,000-gallon wave pool. Certified Autism Centers have been given to both parks.

When does six flags america open? Special events at Six Flags America in 2022 and 2023 include the “Last Splash Weekend” on September 10 and 11, 2022. This is the last chance to visit Hurricane Harbor before the 2022 season ends.
Kid’s Boo Fest is a family-friendly fall daytime event at Six Flags America from September 24 to October 30, 2022. It has Halloween activities, kid-sized festive entertainment, and other not-so-scary things to do.
Fright Fest will be held from September 24 to October 30, 2022. It will be the scariest Halloween event in the area, with new haunts, live entertainment, and scare zones.
Power Hours are held on certain spring weekends. Guests can party after the sun goes down with live DJs, special food and drinks, glow-in-the-dark merch, and their favorite Six Flags America rides.
On certain June weekends, the Viva La Fiesta party at Hurricane Harbor is bigger and better than ever, with limited-time Latin tastes, big band sounds, and a colorful atmosphere.
Harbor Fest is a summer party at Hurricane Harbor on certain weekends in July and August. It has the best slides in the area, live island entertainment, and new food and drink experiences that are only available for a limited time.

With a Seasonal Pass or Membership, visitors to Six Flags America can get up to two meals per visit, with a three-hour break between meals. Plus, Six Flags America Membership is back with three levels of benefits:

Six Flags America calls Washington, D.C., the “thrill capital.”
But thrill-seekers who go to the Maryland amusement park might find that some parts of the capital are closed.
Parkfans.net says that Coyote Creek and Whistle Stop Park at Six Flags America in Maryland have been closed for the rest of the season. Mind Eraser, a roller coaster that was taken off the park’s website, is in this area.
“Yikes! ? ALL of Coyote Creek and Whistle Stop Park’s attractions have been taken off of @SixFlagsDC’s website. “Pages for rides like Mind Eraser now say 404,” the website’s author wrote on Twitter on August 16.

We asked Six Flags America for a comment, but they haven’t given us one yet.
Six Flags A similar ride is in the park at Darien Lake, which is near Buffalo, New York. It is called a suspended roller coaster with four inversions.
Six Flags America is near the Capital Beltway in Bowie, Maryland. It is about an hour north of Quantico. Last week, the CEO of the chain of amusement parks said that the parks had become a cheap daycare for families.
The waterpark at Kings Dominion in Virginia, which is about 20 miles north of Richmond, is now closed during the week for the rest of the season. Monday, September 5, 2022, is the last day Soak City will be open for the year.
Most businesses in the U.S., including amusement parks, had trouble finding enough workers for most of the summer.
